Core Pilates NYC Training Courses
July 2010 - March 2011
Now Pilates apparatus training has gotten more flexible. Core Pilates NYC has divided their Comprehensive Training Course into three modules that may be completed without stringent time and apprenticeship requirements. Each course is separated by level, offers level specific Anatomy in Clay® meetings, and builds upon the principles of the previous level giving candidates a well-rounded classical education. Choose one or take them all.
Each course incorporates a self-study program which will allow you to fully understand and teach classical style Pilates sessions on the Pilates Apparatus including Mat, Reformer, Chair, Cadillac/Tower, Barrel, Pedi
Pull, Foot Corrector and Sandbag. You will complete 10 to 20 self-study practice hours each week on your own and have up to 3 months to finish the alloted hours for each level.
You will learn the exercises and teaching tools, complete practice drills and have hands-on experience during the Weekend Intensives. Between Intensives, you will practice independently by following the homework guidelines that are included in your manual and by watching the recommended Classical Pilates DVDs.
